A crestfallen Starfire mourns the fact that her brother has not truly returned, but states that there were "too many things wrong about him." However, she also realizes that there were also things 'right' about him. ![]() A battle ensues, but Madame Rouge manages to escape. Soon after, Raven and Cyborg are attacked by none other than Wildfire, who the Titans discover is actually Madame Rouge in disguise. Later that night, the two siblings are exhausted after a long day of touring and storytelling. Galfore attempts to reassure the Titans leader, while Starfire gives Wildfire a tour of the Titans Tower. Wildfire replies that he does not like animals much, gaining a suspicious look from Beast Boy in the background, and Starfire begins to speak about the pet that Wildfire had when he was a child, before trailing off and stating that she is "merely disappointed that Wildfire and Silkie did not get along instantly." Starfire then proceeds to introduce her younger brother to two 'delicacies' of Earth: pizza and mustard, while Robin contacts Galfore expressing concern about Wildfire's actions. ![]() Silkie has a negative reaction towards the young Tamaranean, which surprises Starfire, who apologizes for the actions of the moth larva. The two spend the day in Titans Tower, and Starfire introduces her younger brother to all the Titans present and her pet, Silkie. In Teen Titans Go! issue #46, a now-teenaged Wildfire reunites with his older sister, Starfire in the presence of the rest of Titans West, Wonder Girl, Red Star, Kid Flash, and Jinx. As the threat of a takeover by the Gordanians became even greater, Wildfire was secretly sent away to an unknown part of space in order to preserve the royal family line of Tamaran and has not been heard from since. The lush planet was soon ravaged and war-torn. But I'm certain that will change once Rachel Roth returns.Character history Pre-Teen Titans įive years before Starfire's arrival on Earth in the episode " Go!", the Gordanians invaded the planet Tamaran. It just feels like a Nightwing show than a Titans show. Non the less, I have found this season to be the best one yet, in terms of quality in writing and acting. To be honest, the show haven't felt like a true Titans show since the second season, having Conor Leslie return as Donna Troy / Wonder Girl would fix that and I'm certain her resurrection will happen. I also want Conner to have some bigger meaning in the upcoming episodes, he took a back seat in this episode because of a realistic reason but I want more of him. I'm fairly certain that Teagan Croft will return to the show as Rachel Roth, it have been four episodes now and I think the show needs her. Brenton Thwaites and Vincent Kartheiser were great in this episode, delivering amazing performances. Regarding the Starfire storyline of this episode, I anticipated something grander but it was alright yet I'm still interested to see what the writers have in store for her and Blackfire, but honestly it was badly paced and scenes could have been trimmed down in favor of more Conner and see what he's going through. The Grayson storyline was the best, though some odd decisions in terms of storytelling I found it interesting and good either way. But the story of this episode was split up to two sections, Dick Grayson and Jonathan Crane, the other being Starfire and Gar Logan finding out the meaning of her visions. I found the dialogue between Dick Grayson and Jonathan Crane to be the strongest, the dialogue felt a bit lackluster for the other characters in this episode except for Gar Logan and the short appearance of Superboy. The episode is dialogue heavy and slow paced from start to finish, but the episode answers a lot of questions. ![]() The fight sequence was interesting in the way their abilities and skills was shown, I think the stunt coordinators and people who are working on the show always does a good job with that. Cinematography was amazing in this episode and how they shot the fight sequence at night time with the lightning and effects, just brilliant. It's hard to beat that episode and "Blackfire" never reaches that brilliance but the writers and director does a great job with building up to events and slowing things down for character development and world building, the sister to Titans member Starfire makes her anticipated appearance as the villain Blackfire who haven't been seen since the cameo in the season 2 finale. Millicent Shelton directs the follow-up to what I think was the best episode of the season, it showed how big a threat Red Hood really are and how he killed Hank Hall / Hawk in such a personal way.
